Climate change and marine protected areas, including global trends and local characteristics: the example of Portofino.
The role of the photographer and new challenges in a Sea that is changing.

by the photographer and biologist Michele Solca

Milanese by birth but in love with Liguria since his childhood, Michele Solca strives to combine three fundamental passions: Sea, Photography and Marine Biology. In this workshop Michele will present a photographic journey to reflect on climate change and on its concrete effects in our seas and on the animals that populate them.

What challenges await the nature photographer? Which role can photography have in the face of these changes?

Love and knowledge of the Sea as vehicles to respect and protect it more consciously.
